Which devices can I use with QuestOD?

You can watch QuestOD on your mobile, tablet, laptop or PC.

If you would like to watch on your mobile or tablet we recommend that you download the app for a better viewing experience from the Apple app Store or Google Play.

The minimum operating system for iOS is version 9.0 and for Android is version 5.0 for all devices. If your device isn't running on the required version or above, you will need to update your device’s software in order to use QuestOD.

Chromecast is supported on the iOS and Android apps which enables you to watch our shows in HD on a compatible TV.

Airplay is supported on the iOS app which enables you to watch our shows on your Apple TV.

QuestOD supports the latest versions and two previous versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox, and only the current version of Microsoft Edge. Please note that Internet Explorer is no longer supported and you should use an alternative browser.

Why can't I see all the programmes that have appeared on the channel?

On QuestOD, we aim to show as many of the programmes on the service as possible, however, there are some on demand shows where we are not granted the contractual rights to publish the content on the service. For live programmes where we don’t have the contractual rights, we will ensure the content is blacked out. The live stream will resume as normal once the affected episode has finished airing.

When this occurs, we will present an on-screen message to tell you that the show is unavailable.

Can I use QuestOD overseas?

The live and on demand content on and the QuestOD apps are only available to view in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The service and app are not available in any other countries or regions.

How do I find a show to watch?

You can browse the homepage or select the Shows or Genre sections from the menu. If you know the name of the show, you can also select the Search icon and type the show title to find the show you’re looking for.

I’m having issues watching video on Safari

If you have a Mac computer and experience issues playing content back on the Safari browser. This is because some versions of Safari block the auto play feature on video.

Simply follow these steps to enable auto play. If you do not want to allow this, simply use another browser such as Firefox or Chrome.

Step 1: Click Safari, then ‘Settings for this website’

Step 2: Select the Auto-Play section within the pop up and from the drop-down menu, select ‘Allow All Auto-Play’

How do I clear the cache and delete cookies?

This can be managed in your browser by selecting ‘Tools’ and then ‘clear history’, ‘clear cookies’ or ‘clear browsing data’. Use the ‘Help’ function in your browser menu for instructions on how to do this for your specific browser.

I am seeing a ‘500 error’

This is a rare error that occurs when the QuestOD server is not functioning correctly. We apologise for the inconvenience and will continuously be monitoring the service to ensure this doesn’t affect your viewing experience.

The show page doesn’t have any video to watch.

If a show page doesn’t show any available video, it’s because the episode has expired.
